A life remembered

A Tribute to Dean

Dean was a country boy. Living each day to it’s fullest. He would befriend anyone and never met a stranger. Always wearing a hat, ripped up jeans and boots with a lil’ mud on them. He loved animals and left behind his goat Bo and cat Charlie. He had a love for Chevy trucks and got his very own 1967 Chevy truck at a very young age. Through the years he helped restore it. One of his proudest times likely was when he learned to drive it. He drove it into town to get the final restoration done and painted. He was killed when it was in the shop. I continued the restoration and had it painted his favorite colors orange and black. As hard as it was, I brought it home and now cherish it like he would. I made a special spot for it and parked it inside my house. Dean had one sister Marlee and since his passing, he has become an uncle to Kobe Dean, 9 years old, and Kaylee Marie, 4 years old. They have been told and know all about their crazy, funny Uncle Dean and talk about him all the time. He has 6 children named after him and will always be remembered as long as we keep saying his name and telling his story.
