A life remembered

A Tribute to Blake

Blake had such a HUGE, loving, caring heart. He made everyone he came into contact with feel special. Blake was so appreciative of everything I did for him.

I always got compliments on what a great, polite son I had that I raised such a good boy, thanks Blake. πŸ’›

His beautiful smile and uncontrollable laugh. He was there for his friends day or night and he meant it!! He loved and cared for our animals. When I brought a foster in they ended up in Blake’s room.

He loved gaming I loved hearing him laughing and yelling. Playing Yu-Gi-Oh when sneak peek were at the ” shop” for Yu-Gi-Oh he’d get so excited and regionals in Columbus? He would start a count down of when he’d go!! It ended with going to Raising Canes, which we now have that he would loved!!

I miss EVERYTHING about Blake. Him coming home from work and saying ” Hi mom” Blake’s ” I love you mom” what I would give to hear that or get a hug.

Surprising him with Chocolate chip pancakes and bacon the way he liked it soft with a big glass of milk, or his favorite meals he loved.

I miss his savvy tech skills that I DON’T have. When I moved and had to set up internet, etc it was so challenging, but when I’d get it done I look up and say I did it Blake!!

I just miss his physical presents, he was my sounding board, my sweet precious boy. πŸ’›

I love and miss you so much Blake. I NEVER thought in a million years Jesus would call you home and you wouldn’t be here. I can’t tell you the pain I feel every single day. The void I feel is always there.

Some days I just wish I could stay in bed with the covers over my head, but I know you wouldn’t want me to do that.

To get up and start each day knowing you aren’t here is hard. I feel like an elephant is sitting on my chest.

Things will never be the same till Jesus calls me home. I can’t wait to see you and have you show me around heaven.

I can’t wait for no more tears, just happiness. I live for that day!!

I’m so proud you were my son and God blessed me as you mom.

I’m extremely proud you made the choice to be an organ and tissue donor to help others in the end. πŸ’™πŸ’šπŸ’›

I find ways to honor your life you lived on this earth when I have the opportunity and will continue till my last breath.

I LOVE AND MISS YOU TILL I TAKE MY LAST BREATH. TILL I SEE YOU AGAIN MY SWEET BLAKE 🀍πŸͺ½

I’ll end with Blake’s motto:

“To be strong enough so no one has to worry about me.

To have the strength to be someone’s legs and arms.

To tend to the wounded and heal the broken.

To have an unbreakable will and unwavering resolve.

That’s what I aspire to be.

I want to reach the top to share it with everyone else” πŸ’›πŸ’›
